Frontend Editor Updates

Good day TuneFreakers! We have a little more information on our upcoming front-end editor that we will be releasing to musicians soon. You may have questions involving this new editor such as what it does and how it’ll be helpful for you to use. Wonder no more as here are some answers. What is a Front End? A frontend of a website is what people will see when they visit your TuneFreak website. On the other side of things a backend is a place that is usually of administrative aspect. Backends are usually where you would do editing to your website, approve comments/guestbook entries, view statistics and get customer details for shipping out products that you sell on your musician website. The problem / disconnect is that many musicians are not technical programming geniuses (they are when it comes to music though!). We are doing our best to fix this issue that many of our users are having when they sign up for a website from us. The disconnect between the backend editing and what they website looks like. Ok, so about the Editor We have been working hard for months on our new frontend editor. It’s similar to how old MySpace pages use to be edited in the past — something many millions of people know how to do easily. It’s also like Facebook where you see what you can edit before you edit it. This makes it extremely easy for a novice or an expert to edit their website, with or without any technical training. What about the Backend? Our administration panel area also referred to as the...

We are proud to announce that we’ve fixed these issues and you may now make payments without issue. We pride ourselves upon our excellent customer service and fast response times. This issue was no different....

Frontend Editor On the Way!

TuneFreakers, You’ll be proud to know that we are working on a new website editor that’ll be much easier to use than ever before! Currently, we allow our users to edit their musician websites via our backend control panel. This works well but we are working on a way that will allow you to more easily update your website and see the changes while you perform them. Near instantly and without all of the headache some web editors bring into play (simple to use). We believe this will be a huge help to those that may not be the most computer savvy. Plus it’ll be a much faster way for you to create your website if you can see what you are editing while you edit it. What will happen to the backend? The backend will still remain and will still be used for more specific tasks such as creating / sending emails to you fans, approving / replying to comments from fans, adding products / music for sale on your website, and other tasks. New TuneFreak theme Along with the new frontend editor we are going to be releasing a new theme specifically for the new website frontend editor. This new theme will become our base for themes that we will release in the future that’ll feature the new frontend editor. The new TF6 theme is fully responsive, this means that no matter who or how someone visits your music focused website they’ll have no issues viewing it. From mobile phones to tablets to full desktop web browsers everyone will be able to see your content. What are...

Musician Charts, Recap

In this blog post we’re going to review one of our latest features, the Charts for musicians! Charts are a great way to get you and your music ranked within the TuneFreak network! Soon, you’ll even be able to win free stuff such as beats, recording equipment such as mics, free service coupons and much more! Just for ranking high in our Charts. How Our Charts Work Our charts work off of what you and your fans do! We tally up and build our charts with information such as the number of music plays you receive, or the number of times that a person has visited your website. We pay attention to this data and analyze it to make sure that everything is accurate. Afterwards, we then take this processed statistic data and use it to build our musician charts. Next, our musician charting system then ranks users based upon their totals that have been accumulated and added up in the previous step. This gives us a nice visual chart / top-list table that we can present to you. How Often Are Charts Updated? Our charts are updated by the minute! So if you receive any new visitors to your TuneFreak Musician Website, you’ll be able to instantly see that progress on our musician charts. Oh and by the way, our competitors don’t show real-time information like we do. How You Can Get Listed Get started instantly by clicking here and registering for a musician account. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an artist, a DJ, a management company or what type of genre of music you perform — everyone is welcome to sign...

Introducing: Media Market for Musicians

We have created a tool for musicians of all types including those that make beats / instrumentals, vocalist, VSTs creators and others can now easily sell their media creations online quickly and easily. Our Media Market allows users to quickly purchase media that they can use in their next song production. This makes it easy as well as a lot faster to create professional music without the need to seek quality media creations saving time & money. How Can Musicians Profit from Our Traffic? We’re spending thousands of dollars in advertising to bring more visitors, fans and musicians to TuneFreak. We invite all types of musicians to take advantage of this fact so that they can succeed more. This is a huge reason we built a media market in the first place – at this current time, unless you already know someone that makes beats you may have a difficult time finding quality beats & instrumentals. Majority of this problem is that there are so many different places on the Internet where you can find music, some better than others, some less and they all are independent with different ways of conducting business. We are solving this problem by bringing everyone together under one roof where we can all prosper as one and make awesome music at the end of the day for fans and new listeners. What Types of Media Is on the Market? Media Market features the following types of media files, types and formats: Beats / Instrumentals Samples Sounds Vocals VSTs & more! What Does It Cost?   The number one question, price. We know that all musicians do...

Music Marketing: 3 Ways To Get More Song Plays

Music Marketing made Easy In this post will be discussing three different music marketing techniques that you can use to get more song plays immediately! Being a upcoming musician it is very important that you know how to promote your music to receive exposure. It’s also very important that you reach as many people as possible with your music. Just like when you sell albums and get on top chart lists, getting plays (such as YouTube views & SoundCloud plays) on the Internet is no different and can potentially rank your music higher than other musicians on certain websites such as SoundCloud and LiveMixtapes. These types of ranking lists can help to show where musicians are doing well and which ones are not. That’s why we took the time to write this post, so that you can get more plays and stand out from the rest of the crowd.   1st Way To Get More Views / Plays Website – ( CREATE YOURS FREE ) A website can be a major tool in getting more plays and views to your songs. It doesn’t matter if you use YouTube, or some other type of video/song hosting platform. You should be able to embed your song or music video into your official website page and each time somebody visits your page your song(s) should be able to play. This will result in your plate/view count incrementing. So for instance, if I have my sound cloud player all my page and received 100 visitors who all listen to at least one song I would have gained 100 new plays in that one day, even though the...

5 Musician Fundraising Ideas

Musician Fundraising Today we have 3 musician fundraising ideas to empower musicians to raise funds allowing them more growth and success. This list will have you collecting funds in no time! Raffles at Venues A raffle is a game of sorts that people play to win prizes. The game is played by obtaining numbered tickets / cards that players pick at random out of a hat or container. Winners are determined by a judge or selected person calling out numbers of tickets that have been picked. Depending on the ticket number you may win different levels of prizes. Prizes are predetermined before players are able to pick tickets. Prizes are basically associated with ticket numbers that can be picked. You’ll be able to raise money for yourself or your band by selling tickets to this game / event. In general, tickets usually range from free to $20 each, depending on the event and prizes being given away. Autographed Photos Your photos may be worth money later on in life just like rookie baseball cards are worth lots when the player becomes an MVP. As you grow in your music career this rule also applies to you. People are aware of this fact and are usually willing to invest into someone if they can get an autographed object in return. You can autograph anything from photos to microphones, that choice is yours but we do know this is an excellent way to connect with fans and raise funds at the same time. Local Car Washes W/ Music Another great way to raise money for your music is to host a local car wash. If you...

New: Fundraising for Musicians

We’ve been hard at work on our latest tool for musicians such as rappers, bands, singers and others. This new tool will allow you to create your own fundraising website that you can use to gain funding the crowdfunding way. Benefits: Raise money for things (CD production, going on tour, etc) Give fans special offers for donating to your cause Quick, fast and easy Finally gain the money you need to promote yourself or your band and achieve more success! Just like businesses need investors so do musicians. We think of musicians as businesses themselves and to become known sometimes requires funds that bands and artists sometimes just don’t have.   As with all the tools we produce here at TuneFreak, we’ve also made this one super easy to use meaning you don’t need to know programming or have design skills. We like to make tools that everyone can use quickly and easily. Take a look at how easy we’ve made it!   Super simple WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor. This editor will allow you to simply type in what you want, upload pics, place videos, bold text and more. Using this tool you’ll be able to establish your fundraising site in less than 10 minutes. How much money are you trying to raise?   In this area all you’ll need to do is input how much money you are trying to raise, how soon (or how late) and are there any rewards. Rewards can be both tangible and intangible items that a backer / funder will receive for funding you. For instance, if someone donates $10 you may send them a copy...
