50 Cent, otherwise known as XYZ was born on July 6, 1975 in Queens, New York in the South Jamaica neighborhood. 50 Cent has made a massive impact to the hip hop industry. He got his start in 2000 with a record deal with Columbia records that never came to fruition as he suffered a gunshot attack which messed up the release. Still seeking success, he was signed to Shady Records after they noticed a compilation album that he made in 2002. He has since reached insane levels of success and has proven to be a masterful business leader within many industries. In addition to rapping 50 is also proficient at sonwriting, television production, investing, acting and business.
